Experience a culinary and cultural celebration of all things pickled during Picklesburgh, named USA Today’s #1 Specialty Food Festival in the country for two consecutive years!
The free three-day festival takes place July 15-17, 2022. Mark your calendar for the next Picklesburgh festival and relish the energy of this Only in Pittsburgh event. Picklesburgh is in a new location for 2022 that includes the Rachel Carson (Ninth Street) Bridge and continues to the riverfront along the Tenth Street Bypass. The main entrance is now at the Ninth Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard intersection.
What is Picklesburgh?
Picklesburgh is a dill-icious weekend in Downtown Pittsburgh dedicated to the humble Pickle. Headlined by a giant flying Heinz pickle balloon, the Picklesburgh festival is a true culinary celebration.
So, What’s the Big Dill?
Pickles are, obviously, the highlight of the event, but the celebration goes beyond our vinegar-ed friends. Try some dill-ightfully prepared food and drinks, and be sure to check out a variety of themed souvenirs and gifts including:
- Pickles and assorted pickled veggies
- Pickled peppers and hot sauces
- Pickle cocktails
- Pickle beer
- Pickled items (obviously)
- Recipe Books
- Pickle themed merchandise
- Pickle-centric jewelry
Let your imagination run wild, you’ll soon find out everything can be pickled!
Of course any festival needs entertainment, and Picklesburgh is no exception. A proper Picklesburgh weekend wouldn’t be complete without entertainment! Live music, pickling and cooking demos, children’s activities and of course the fan favorite Pickle Juice Drinking Contest!
